Julie Fotheringham, MA, ACC

About Julie

Julie has a passion for developing leaders. Through her coaching, facilitation and executive events, she brings wisdom and an understanding of adult learning to support others in realizing their full potential.

Julie has a background in CPG marketing and pharmaceutical sales, having held senior positions in both areas for 15 years. While working as VP Marketing in Medical Device, Julie developed a world-class scientific advisory board, marketing healthcare brands across North America and Europe. Since becoming a Partner at Hageman, Julie has developed the Executive Event side of the business, creating Experiential Leadership Development Programs for C-levels, Entrepreneurs and Managers. Through these programs and her Executive Coaching, Julie has facilitated learnings in various areas of business leadership including mindfulness, emotional intelligence, change management, customer intimacy and organizational health.

Julie holds a BSc (Honours) Biology degree from Queen’s University, Kingston ON and a MA in Organizational Development & Leadership from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, CA. She is a certified Executive Coach (ACC) and certified in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0 / EQ 360).

Gloria Benaim

About Gloria

Gloria is a dedicated Planner with close to 20 years of experience in Special Events.

She creates ultimate event experiences and builds strong relationships with her clients, working closely with them from idea conception to execution and post-event debriefing. Leveraging her strong creativity, incredible style and extraordinary attention to detail, she brings their vision to life and looks at each event as an opportunity to create something unique. She has worked with all budget levels from intimate dinners to large galas.

Gloria holds a BA in Psychology from York University and a BEd from Brock University. After teaching for several years, she decided to change careers to follow her passion for Event Planning and has never looked back.

Gloria has worked in many different areas of events including food and beverage; venue management, entertainment and production, giving her great insight into the many facets involved when planning. She spent 12 years at MBE Group overseeing and building the Event Management aspect of the business while concurrently having her own company specializing in Private Events.

She partners with Julie on the Corporate Events side of Hageman to expand the offering and include Executive Off Sites, Product Launches, Client Appreciation Events and Galas.

About Rebecca

Rebecca is a dynamic and highly creative events specialist with an outgoing personality, an ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and a track record of building and strengthening relationships between organizations and their stakeholders.

Rebecca has worked as the Event Coordinator for World Junior Hockey Championship, Political campaigns, Toronto Argonauts, Young Presidents’ Organization and Rogers Media, including managing sponsors, VIPS and event elements related to Vancouver 2010 Olympics. She is also an outstanding party planner, guaranteed to “wow” guests with her themes and thoughtful touches.

Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of King’s College, Halifax NS.

About Rebecca

Rebecca is a Certified Professional Facilitator and skilled strategist. She has conducted strategic planning, stakeholder consultations, community-based research, coaching and evaluation exercises for a range of clients locally, across Canada and internationally, in the for-profit, public and non-profit sectors. She is also trained in mediation and conflict management.

Rebecca is a quick learner and creative thinker who is able to synthesize complex components into a coherent whole. She brings together multiple stakeholders to create strategic processes that have broad and deep resonance. She has an outstanding record of providing high quality experiences and products, on time and within budget. She is also a gifted communicator, whose practical and engaging style is appreciated during in-person consultations, presentations and in written documents.

Rebecca holds a PhD in Sustainable Rural Communities from the University of Guelph and a Master’s in Public Administration, with an emphasis on not-for-profit governance, from Queen’s University. She has completed a full slate of doctoral level courses in Adult Education, as well as professional training in areas such as innovation, multi-stakeholder engagements and transformative mediation.
